Mailprotector

Experience Levels

Experience levels in Mailprotector Shield, customizable by a Shield Admin per user, determine a user's veto capabilities over messages delivered to Jail, with three tiers—Beginner (requiring admin veto for all Jail messages), Intermediate (admin veto required for inbound mail only, user can release outbound messages), and Expert (user can release all Jail messages without admin intervention)—and defaulting to Beginner for all users.

Description

Experience levels control whether an individual user has veto capabilities for messages delivered to Jail. These are customizable per user by a Shield Admin.

Experience Levels

A Shield Admin can modify experience levels by clicking View Users in the Shield organization, clicking the user, clicking Configure Preferences, and scrolling to Control Settings.

Experience Level choices are:

  • Beginner: Requires veto review by a Shield Admin for any Jail message
  • Intermediate: Requires veto review by a Shield Admin for inbound mail only. The user can release any Jailed message they send outbound.
  • Expert: The end user can make all choices to release a Jailed message with no intervention by a Shield Admin.

By default, users of any type are set to Beginner experience level.
