Jail in Mailprotector Shield Portal
The Mailprotector Shield Portal's Jail feature holds messages with dangerous components based on calculated user risk levels that override sender trust, allowing users to view quarantined messages and request vetoes to deliver them to their Inbox if approved.

Description
Jail is located in the Shield Portal, where messages with dangerous components or characteristics are held. Shield calculates each user's risk levels to determine if a message should be sent to Jail, regardless of whether the sender is trusted. A Veto Request can be made for a message in Jail. If approved, the message will be delivered to the user's Inbox.
How Jail Works: Trust Network and Risk Levels
Risk Levels determine whether a message should be held in Jail. If a sender is trusted but their message contains High-Risk characteristics, then the Risk Levels supersede the trust network decision, and the message is delivered to Jail.
Workflows or the Passthrough Protection Level may affect the location and/or designation of individual messages.
View Messages in Jail
Spotlight's Recently Held in Jail recipe shows all messages held for the past 14 days.
Shield Users can request a veto of the Jail decision. Only Shield Admins or users designated as Intermediate or Expert experience level may approve or deny veto requests.
